Rieju RST Carlos Checa
Hi friend,
This coments, is for showing my paint work in gas tank. It`s very dificult that the gas tank have diferent geometry and the sun ray on the gas tank is diferent. It's have a lot of work to good paint.

Rieju RST Carlos Checa
Hi friends
From my unit, I had a problem, I had not a front body parts, yes in a last images of Rieju is posible to see a broke body parts.
In last weeks I buyed a second hand parts body parts. The problem is the same parts but is diferents hole to put on, before to paint I want put on the bike and I see all parts, see images

Rieju RST Carlos Checa
Hi friends
This is new
project, a few years ago I were in magny-cours circuit (France) and I saw a
wolrd SBK races where Carlos Checa, a Spanish rider won a SBK champion title, the first and only spanish title on SBK. This is my tribute to Carlos. Thanks.
From a street unit I want to finish in this look.
Carlos is on middle of last photo in 1990 's years.
Today
My RST Checa street unit is..........
Very ugly but with a lot of job and love will be a god RST Checa tribute unit.

Joan Garriga RIP

Sorry I could not write, because works problems and family problems, I want come bak to show my motorcycle works (I have a lot of new projects), but today I'm sad. Joan Garriga has deaded last monday in crash motorcycle.

KTM LC4 frame perfomance
Two solution for the problem.
In last commen that a number of possibles olutions, some more cheap than another.
Now I
write my explanation, I decide for two, change a final relation, before 16-45
after 16-38, 7 teeth is much, but LC4 engine have only 5 gearbox ralation and
have a more torque.
Solution:
The engine work with 500 rpm less, good?
I want to work more in this part, 38
teeth is as small possible for rear hub.Only solution is change 16 teeth front, 17
teeth but I need a mechanical modifications for this.
In Tony
Foale book, show in one thumper engines, have a lot vibrations, for example Norton in his old models ,
manufacture a rubber system for cut back vibrations engine, in book explain, a cheap solution,
connect frame with head valve engine. When I design a new frame I have a
all tube sframe, but in ktm have a engine, an electrical components, fexibles tubes,
all and I need adapt to situation.
The exercise is:
Result,
engine don’t transmite a lot of vibrations, It’s impossible to eliminate all vibrations, but good result for work. It’s very difficult work in
this frame-engine because the hole is more small, but result is good.
Only more comment, with 38 theeth on rear hub, engine response is more slow, I think a lot solutions..........

KTM LC4 frame perfomance
Hi friends......
KTM LC4 is a old model of an austrian manufacturer. This engine has over 20 years, my model is a 2006 year old. The engine is very strong, it's true!!!!! no mechanical problems, no electric problems, it haven't an electrical components!!!!!!!!! jejeje.
But It have a one problem, as a one thumper, have a balancer shaft, it's necessary, that the vibrations with one cylinder is unbereable for road. Already this bike isn't for travel, but in seven years, my bike haven't a problem, only bateries and engine maintenance.
In seven years i travel to France, Italy and in this years to netherland, and I'm happy with it. I intend, to reduce engine vibration.
Problem: To 120-130 km/h and 5500 rpm the vibration is important, the vibration causes:
- Body tired (my ass !!!!!!!!!!).
- I don't drive with more speed, that increases vibration.
- Bolts screws, rivets, ...... broken and it's importan for safety
- In last travel (Assen) had a problem with electrical components (GPS) that with vibration had a bad function.
Causes:
- Reading in LC4 forum, this model have a big rear wheel drive, excesive for road good for off road. From manufacturer have a 15-45. My bike have a 16-42
- In LC4 USA forum I read the problem is in crankshaft, one thumper haven't a trade off. When piston is on top dead centre, on lower point haven't a trade off. For example in ducati engine when one piston is on top dead centre another cilynder have on lower point. In one thumper, one balancer shaft offset another cilynder. I think a KTM LC4 have a mathematical mistake for balancer shaft. Is too small.
- With Tony Foale book, and his geometry frame discussion, explain if valve cover is conected to frame reduce a vibration engine.
- KTM LC4 frame is oil tank of engine, for this the frame isn't tense, and vibration is big.
- LC4 engine have ony 5 relation gearbox.
Solutions:
- Change a chain relation. Easy
- Frame-engine connection. See a Tony Foale book. Is difficult but I don't remove a engine
- Crankshaft change. Uffff. Is difficult and expensive work
- Flywheel magneto change. Easy, expensive and HP engine loss. I don't like.
