KTM LC4 Alu box 6

To plug a grinder work, i choose a black PVC angle, for assembly I use a glue and sealant tube.

The next images show a box locks assembly

Last image show also on top box a two bars for anything tie.

The next step is a frame building for alu box. Sorry for images but I forgot take pictures before paint..........

The steel with TIG welding is conbination for this model. I choose a bolt assembly that is more easy to retire and this KTM have a lot of vibration. Is a one thumper model 640 cc.

As boxes have a 30 liters aprox p/unit. I need a strong frame.

Motorland European Endurance Classic Series

Hi friends,

Yesterday I was in motorland circuit for see european series classics and proclassics. This are a two european championship for classic. It's beatiful walk across team box and have free entrance.

behind box circuits had a classic spare market and spanish classic car exhibition. Good tempetaure for racing classic, good spanish sun and good beer!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing saturday!!!!

A very nice customizate model.

It's wonderful know a history model, and where finish a factory units. Yesterday readed on classic spanish magazine, a BMW 500 T 255 kompresor  history. This article magazine said, BMW factory produced only 15 units for only racing not road. When finish the first wolrd war and beginned second wolrd war, the 15 unit lose in wolrd. BMW didn't know where was each unit.

In late 1970 years John Surtees, found a one unit in USA with very bad condition, and it was restored for BMW factory. Today this model is in BMW museum at Germany.

Now I finish aluminum box welding, this is an images:

This my first welding on this metal, I think a good work no? It's very dificult aluminium weld work, you must go everyone points:

- Clean metal with acetona

- Hot metal with blowlamp torch

- Weld tig

As weld is ugly, I sand every welds points, and finish is:
